Unshackling the feelings

"Who reads what I write?",
I asked to myself, today,
thinking, "who really cares what I feel?",
because one of my friend questioned,
"Who is your audience?"

"I write to portray my feelings,
to share my feelings,
and about the audience, it could be you,
anyone, and even myself," I answered.

Sometimes, when I'm alone,
I share what I write
to my reflection, my shadow,
my soul, and to the inner silence.

Distant echoes are calling me.
I'm pursuing the dreams
to find my voice. So, I write.

I must pursue the distant voices
that are calling me
to connect with the audience.
So, I write to connect with you.
