Everyone needs peace. I just learned the meaning of a line in "Seahorse," "the need for peace starts from within."

The need for peace can't be forced on anyone. No one can say, "You need to look for peace," it needs to start from within. If it's externally suggested or forced, then it'll always be separate from the self... so the true need comes from within. And while it's true that everyone needs peace, they have to learn for themselves so that need comes from within.

Just some random thoughts.

    One of my favorite parts to a Catholic mass is the offering of peace. If you're not familiar, the priest offers peace to the congragation and we each in turn shake the hands of those around us, offering them peace. Peace be with you.

    The same is practiced in Presbyterian churches.

    When I am able to escape civilization and remove myself from other people then I can find my own brand or peace in the solitude of nature.
