Bath Day

It's that time of year where I give my dog a bath. It's always an adventure when I do this. Her bath is given in the bathtub and I usually put on a pair of shorts and a T-shirt but this time I put my bathing suit on. She went into the bathroom but then figured outwhat was about to happen so I had to close both doors in the bathroom really fast. Knowing she had no where to go she willingly jumped into the tub (usually I have to lift her in) which is not easy since she weighs close to 95 pounds. I close the shower door so she can't jump out and turn the water on.
I start hosing her down and she just stood there like a good dog. Next comes the shampoo and then she decides to start shaking the water off. Shampoo is flying in my face and she then decides to sit down on my feet insteadI let the shampoo soak in for a few minutes and then start hosing her down. I'm watching the water build up in the tub drainer so I clean out the hair (let me tell you there was a lot of hair that came off) and continue washing her.
As soon as I turned the water off she knew the bath was over and wanted out of there. She jumps out of the tub and starts shaking off the water before I can get a towel to her. More water flying all over the place!! I towel her down as best I could and let her out of the bathroom. She then becomes a wild woman running up and down the hallway.
We come downstairs and I try to brush her. My dog does not like to be brushed so I am running after her with a brush and finally get her on the deck and close the slider so she can't get back inside. Hair was flying everywhere.
After about 10 minutes I give up and let her back inside. She is now taking a nap after her tiring experience.
