So I Lied!!!

I know I recently stated that I would no longer write about my adoption journey but something happened today that just pissed me off soooooo much that I have to let out my frustration

Part of the Dossier paperwork consists of getting a copy of your doctor's license. Don't ask why, all I know is that it is required from the Embassy. Well, I got a copy from my doctor but her license expires in Feb.2010. The problem is that the license must be valid for a year + 4 months from the time the dossier is submitted. We are submitting our dossier this month, which if you do the math it's not acceptable. So I was told my doctor needs to get a letter from the licensing board indicating that she is in good standing and will have no problem in getting her license renewed.

I went to my doctor this afternoon and she is giving me a hard time about this letter. I told her look I'm just following the instructions of what needs to be done and if I don't get this letter the adoption won't proceed. She kept going on about how she never heard of this before and wouldn't even know who to contact.
I find that so hard to believe, I think she is full of ca-ca!!!!. I told her I will have my adoption coordinator call her to get this straightened out.

I came home and immediately called our adoption coordinator. She was very understanding and said she will call my doctor tomorrow after she looked into something.

I am ready to find another primary doctor because she just pissed me off

Red tape, and the wheels keep turning and turning. Keep your eye on the prize and all this will seem to be as a wisps of smoke when the light dawns. Doctors are either really good about paperwork or horrid detemining on who they are has been my experience.
