Halls of the Dark Muse

Well I found myself stuck with a dove and I have no idea what the heck I am going to do with it. I found it the other day, or rather one of my cats found it. At first I thought the cat had got hold of it, and it was injured, because it was not flying, but on closer examination, it seemed to be uninjured and now is perfectly fine, so I think that cat had just startled as on closer examination I noticed the wings have been clipped so it must have belonged to someone but I have no idea where it might have came from and now I don't know what to do with it. I haven't got anything to keep a bird of that size in on a long term basis, and I cannot just let a flightless bird go or eventually a cat will get hold of it. So far it does not seem as if there is anyone who is looking for their lost bird, though without flight, it must not have come from very far away.
