Halls of the Dark Muse

Unfortunately the dove is no more. Because the animal was intended to only be a temporoary resident, and for lack of anywhere else to keep it for the time, I had the bird in an old bird cage of mine sitting on top of one of my rabbit huts, because there is virutullay nowhere in the house I could have kept the brid cage, and I couldn't put in the gargage becasue my cats so I kept it in the backyard, becasue Taz usually never goes back there and he is the only one that I really was worried about it. Zeo is too lazy to hunt and Demeter isn't really very preadatory, and in the cage I thought it would be fine. But I guess last night the raccoons or one of the other nighboorhood cats must have got it, because this morning I went out and there was just a mass of feathers, and no bird in sight.
