Strange Fate of Coincidence

In addition to the gazilion other books I am reading just at my own leisurely pace, I have also began reading a book a month. In which at the beginning of each month I will choose a book to read and then dedicate myself to finishing it within that month. I first got in the habit of doing it when I started partaking in a online book discussions so now if none of the groups I happen to be involved with are discussing a book that I either I do not want to read or don't happen to own I will just choose a book to read for myself that month.
I had this book The French Lieutenant's Woman by John Fowles for quite some time now just sitting on my shelf and I have been wanting to read it, and I really liked The Magus by Fowles so I was interested in reading more of his work, so I decided to choose that book to read for the month of May and I did not really know much about the book other than it had been made into a movie. Well as I was at the end of May finishing up the book in one of the last chapters of the book it made some reference to it being coming to the end of May within the book, which I thought was just kind of funny.
Well now for June I completely by random choose to read The Scarlet Letter by Hawthorne, I literally had a list of books written down and I just drew a random book title out of a hat because I could not decide what I wanted to read next. So it was all by chance that I choose to read the book and in the very first chapter it talks about it being the beginning of June within the story.
So I was just like wow that is weird.
