Halls of the Dark Muse

Nail polish is the only thing in the make-up category that I ever use. But being an ardent multi-tasker and be generally impaitiant and not good at sitting still the one thing I hate about painting my nails is then having to wait for them to dry.

Even when I try to do it while I am watching TV, I always feel like I am wasting time that could be used to do something else when I wait for them to dry, and then I never can wait quite long enough and end up smudging the polish and have to do it over again.

So I came up with a system, yes, now I can multi task even while I am sleeping, as that is a large chunk of time in which I am not doing anything else, I got in the habit of painting my nails right before going to bed so they dry while I sleep.

Well last night I went to paint my nails and because I was getting ready to go to bed it was kind of dark and you know how in the dark colors become obscure and don't look the same as they do in the light. I had this green nail polish that I got from hot topic, and in the dark it was hard to tell exactly what sort of green it was, it looked sort of blue-green and I could not remember the exact color I bought.

While I was painting my nails I did have a lamp on to offer some light to see what I was doing, but it was not that bright so the color was still obscure looking so I finish painting may nails and go to bed.

And when I woke up and looked down at my nails I was just like WHOA!

For I came to discover that they were bright neon green, and well I bought it so I liked the color, but it is not what I was quite expecting so it did take me by surprise to start with.
