~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And here we are again
The tigers gone to sleep
Now you have to get the train
Three cars you cannot keep.
Why did you never think to save
When money came your way.
Just bought and too much money gave
To shops… none left for a rainy day.
Credit cards you had…
You were living the life.
Ah but now, aint it sad,
You’re in financial strife.
What goes up, must come down
As the old saying goes.
No point in wearing that old frown
Or stepping on other peoples toes.
You only have yourselves to blame
Greed took all of you!
Oh dear! Oh what a shame!
I pity but a few.
Now your purse strings are tight
Now you worry about your jobs…
But have you stopped to think how it might
Affect some of us poor sods?
There are still many lessons you need to learn
Before more people are on the dole.
Its not just the politicians and the banks concern!
Don’t you see? Have you no soul?
No spending means, less jobs are needed
Businesses shut, many are sold…
Families now struggle, to banks they’ve pleaded
“cant find a job! The say I’m too old!”
So spend some money, just a bit
Show compassion along the way
No point getting so mad you could spit
on the other poor sods standing in your way
