Ok, so if I wasn't fully recovered from my slump before, I am now. I had a few 'How could you be down when [blank] has just happened' moments. I thought I'd share.

I discovered that my psycho boss has a weakness... Me and my charming ways!

I love making other people fall in love with the koalas. It is a rare occassion that somebody walks away without being converted or wearing a smile. This afternoon, I was talking to tourists about the koalas, while they were taking photos and petting them. I had a huge grin on my face and could practically feel the love bubbling out of me and spilling over them. The tourists were excited, asking question after question and having a great time. I then turned and saw my new work experience guy had stopped raking and was just watching the moment with a smile to match my own. It was just one of those moments where you know it doesn't get much better than this.

Later that afternoon, I was saying 'Hello' to Stella and asking how the precious cargo in her pouch was. The baby's little foot suddenly came out of the pouch. A perfect little koala foot, but pink and tiny. I called over my work experience kids to have a look, and sent all of the staff a text message. It was a very special moment

Then, I was driving home, listening to one of my current favourite songs (I Like You So Much Better When You're Naked - Ida Maria) and I recieved a text message. It was a friend from work, telling me that a picture she took was put into a local childrens book in Vermount. A picture of Corey our dingo and my feet! I laughed so hard and asked if it was a good pic of my feet She sent me the picture. You want to see it don't you!? Hmmmm... Ok I'm feeling generous, here you go:
