So, realised has been a while since I last blogged. Problem is I dont really have anything meaningful or relevant to say - but I decided you lot know that has never stopped me rambling on in the past so it wont stop me now either.

Gonna start with work stuff - I got a raise (quite nice & useful). I am again going to be interviewing for new staff for my crew. I pulled my calf this week shifting a shed, and aggravated it moving loads of cases of pop.

Next up current reading - I have been persuaded to give that austen woman one last try, and have a copy of Persuasion sitting on the desk next to me. Now I know those of you that have been following things for a while will be currently having the same reaction as night did when I mentioned this to her "but you hate Austen" yep, I do hate Austen - dont fear loyal readers I have not recently gone insane (I went completely daffy years back) - but this way I get to be happy in my opinion as I will have given her multiple attempts to amuse & entertain me.

So really there is nothing more to tell - things are kinda boring here currently but my invention is gathering pace & I may be getting somewhere with the robotics part

    IT had been a while Kilt and it's always nice to read your blog. YEA!! raise- that's great. Sorry about your leg. Great work on the invention. Good luck with Austen. I like her, but she's a little long winded.

    Excellent time to get a raise as many are worried about their jobs.

    Having said that, a friend of mine got the news that they would receiving 10% increase this year... a week later it was followed by the news that their team to be downsized by 50%! (I guess that explained their unexpected generousity )

    Re. Austen. I enjoy reading Austen but would not consider Persuasion to be one of her better works. Definetely not what I would recommend a non-Austen fan to begin with... I very seriously doubt that it is the book that will make you like Austen (if you ever do).

    However, what do I know?

    I think I've mentioned the invention in passing - obviously not going to great detail about it in such a public medium as the internet.

    It is a machine that will automatically sort glass by colour for recycling. I am working on building a prototype, but it is going slowly as I dont have any real background in robotics and that is one component to the design
