Magnetic Fridge Poem 1

Rate this Entry
Someone gave me a magnetic fridge poetry set recently and although I was thankful to get a present, I was in my heart slightly disappointed at this present, as I thought the limited vocabulary and word selection would limit to a great extent what I could write. But hey, I don't need to think like that, I think I can write lots of poems with it, or spark off some that I can develop elsewhere.
Anyway here's the first one (it's almost a haiku, I suppose) :

Always an animal
growling questions at the ocean
peace never lingers.

Silas, if you get some of the other fridge magnet sets, you'll have a much greater variety. There's a Shakespeare one, a Genius one, a Dirty one xD, and a variety of others. All combined, they make a great vocabulary and little roughing out space on your fridge.

Thanks! The Dirty one and the Genius one sound good for the fridge, though I'm looking at the normal one and it has enough words to write a poem that I wouldn't post on litnet.

Oh we had that magnetic poetry thing at work about eight or nine years ago. We had a blast with it. Actually we were a team pulled together for a special project and essentially locked in a corner room and were forced to relate to each other, for better or worse. That magnetic poetry kept things interesting and fun.

how lovely... even with magnetic poetry you are a virtuoso with words.
