Random moaning

Friday night, I am bored. It's raining and cold outside and the house is freezing. This morning it was 45 F in here. That is an inside temperature mind you....about 7 C. I have no money left for heating oil and I haven't since the beginning of April. I am so bloody tired of being cold! WEll, now it isn't so bad, because I turned on the space heater, but those things suck up electricity like nobody's business. I have got sweatpants, a robe and a blanket on, but sheesh.

Anyway...I am bored. I decide to look through my photobucket album. I have a ton of pictures! I can't believe I have so many. I have been wondering why I have some of them, and can't quite remember where I posted them.

This is a small sample of the pictures I have accumulated online or created myself and have stored on photobucket. Random? Yes!

Thumbnails. Clicking on the small picture will open up a larger view of it.

Keep warm Kathy. Perhaps a hot cup of tea or hot chocolate would help. It's cold here too but I have not turned on the heat. We're wearing sweatshirts and I guess we'll snuggle tonight.

what a lot of interesting pics! I've really wanted to post some pics but I didn't want to join yet another file-sharing site. Did it slow down your computer at all or send you any viruses? Thanks so much.

File sharing isn't the same as file hosting, adya. I use photobucket which is a reputable image host. They never engage in any funny stuff because they are a business. While they offer free accounts (and you see ads, just like you do here at litnet) they also offer premium services for people who need more bandwidth or space. Between the premium stuff and the ads, they do pretty well financially.

A great many of my images are screenshots from games I am playing or stuff I use to show other people how to do something. Sometimes that old saying "A picture is worth a 1000 words" is quite apt. I would be leery of file sharing too, but luckily this isn't it. You can read more about posting images and stuff by going here.

Thanks Virgil, I have been drinking tea throughout the day, and really encouraging the cat to lay on my legs. He is nice and cozy. I think Monday should be a little warmer.

Dear, why can't you afford heating oil? Do you have a husband to take care of you? I am concerned. No one should live in 45 degree temperatures - it's far too cold.

Aw, thanks Countess. The fuel oil company I use requires prepayment, so that leaves out making monthly payments on a balance. It would cost me almost three hundred dollars for them to come out and make a delivery and that would leave me only $150 for the month to pay all my other bills and groceries with. Just takes too big of a chunk of my monthly income. ( I am divorced. )

Around here electric is a fixed payment with catch=up at the end of the year. I always go month by month myself because I'm suspicious of that huge amount that might come due because winters in Ohio have been very unpredictable lately. Hang in there I understand trying to make ends meet and still have some kind of life. Don't use the gas much.

I liked that Happy Thursday Piggie the best! I am sorry that you are so cold, my dear -- too bad you did not own a pot bellied stove that you could place tons of logs into and crackle merrily away. That is such a pleasant way to stay warm... You take care, kay?
