Ok, I was thinking about this while walking to work at 6 this morning. What exactly do I believe in? I'm sure I believe in something, so decided to make a list.


I believe charity is a private thing not to be discussed.

I believe Scotland's problems will not be solved by independence only introspection

I believe coming to Canada was the making of me & I am proud of my dual-nationality

I believe Glasgow Rangers are the greatest ever team & Ally McCoist the greatest ever striker

I believe everyone should be free to follow whichever religion they like, but like charity it should be a private thing

I believe services required for the necessity of living should be run by the state

I believe if you earn more you should pay more

I believe I still have a lot to learn

I believe any man who hits a women deserves to be knocked the bleep out

I believe technology is the answer to most of the world's problems

I believe I will probably never get married

I believe pineapples are the greatest fruit

I believe the world is still a good place to be

I believe if there is a heaven I will probably not be going there & I dont mind

I believe in an honest days work for an honest days pay

I believe in giving 100% of whatever you have to the job that you do

I believe greenpeace are doing more harm than good

I believe I am probably missing out a lot

    A fascinating set of ideals and values. I probably agree with most of them. Completely agree on the technology one. Most artsy people here (I'm not using that in a negative sense, just to distiguish from technical people) probably feel the opposite. It's amazing how in the 21st century people still think that some primitive life style is better for humanity. One of these days I should write up a blog just like this. I should keep a running list. Great idea Kilt. Oh, and you'll be getting into heaven, I'm sure.

    I can not agree with pineapples being the greatest - But I agree with almost everything else.

    A very sound set of beliefs kilted. I agree about the privacy thing in particular, but perhaps that is just the stoic in me. I guess I would add to that list that I believe it is better to do good than to be seen to be doing good. Or something like that.
    Have to disagree about the pineapple - you can't make anything alcoholic from that. Give me grapes any day

    I actually know who Ally McCoist is, though I didnt know he played for the rangers, and of COURSE pineapples are the best thing ever! now if I could just find a dancing pineapple..hummm

    I have to say, i agree with a lot of what you said. And privacy is one of the greatest parts of being non- important me thinks.

    all these people disagreeing about the mighty pineapple - heretics one and all!

    Fifth - have you ever tried to make alcohol out of pineapple? If you can get alcohol from spuds I dont see how you couldnt get it from pineapple....
