Silas Thorne's Journal

the land of the dying without

Rate this Entry
The land of the dying without
always has prospectors on it,
checking you out as you get on the bus,
wishing and hoping,
left thrown up by the dust of your passing-
the moment for mindcrimes is blessed.

Let it only come to this:
a full stop, with no comma.
Forever without end,
the land of the dying without is.

Clever and imaginative as always Silas. I must be missing the meaning of the last line. I don't get that.

I mean to those who are always dying without something, there is always a forever of searching, with no rest, but the lines were probably too obscure.

yeah i was lost on the last line also, but the poem over all is very good.
