He'll love all the well-wishes, everyone, thanks. I haven't heard from him yet but when I do I'll be sure to pass along all your thoughts, hugs, and best wishes. I've been debating leaving a message on his cell phone but I don't want to put any undue pressure on either him or Ruth. What do you think - should I?

Andya, tough call. But since you asked what we thought, I'll give you my two cents worth. I think that maybe you should wait for one of the family to contact you. Afterall, Rich notified you and I know he knows that you and all of us will be waiting to hear of any developments. So to call might put undue pressure on the family at a crisis time like this. Because this is such a tough call, that is probably what I'd do.

Andy, why don't you wait a few days. The first 24-48 hours after a heart attack are very critical. He's not over the danger until the first 48 hours pass.

A quick note -- I'm home now a little the wiser for foolish playing dice with meds. God is still good and better to me then I deserve. I'll blog it soon---pretty sure I can milk some chuckles and drama out of this. Thank you all for the well wishes. The things I go thru to get Logos to call--sigh.
