Brief Interlude

Ok, a small interruption to my entries regarding Scotland. I was out earlier and saw all these schoolchildren at the local school having their school sports day. It reminded me of a funny story from my childhood.
When I was in primary school each person had to participate in at least 2 races: The 50yard dash and one other more crazy race eg egg & spoon, wheelbarrow race etc. Me and one of my friends Scott used to always choose the 3 legged race.
This story occurs when we were in primary 5. We went out to an early lead, then he tripped and was lying on the ground still with his ankle tied to mine. Most people would've probably stopped at this stage, but I've always been a little wierd and I continued running, dragging him along on the ground behind me. We didnt get the prize for winning (big bag of sweets), but we did get a bar of chocolate each for effort.
**I think I have a pic of this somewhere - will try and look it out.**
