This is my new baby his name is Indra and he is an Eastren Collared Lizard. He is so adorable and these guys have a great personality.

Hehe I have only had him for a few days but he does not seem to be very aggressive, and he dosen't really have teeth. I had a geko that bit me once, but it just feels like being pinched, it doesen't really hurt.
Are they poisonous? What do you feed him?
LOL no, it is not legal to sell poisonous aniamls for pets and Gila monsters are the only type of truly poisonous lizards. He eats crickets, mealworms, waxworms, and bits of fruits and vegitables.
I guess that's one way to get rid of raoches.

I can handle lizards but have a mortal fear of snakes. The geckos on Guam were everywhere and were accepted as part of the furniture almost. You got so you ignored them as they never bothered anyone.

The different color patterns usually depend upon where they live. I have a Californian King which are the black and white ones
So add your place to a home I'll never be setting foot in. Had a coworker who had 2 pythons she kept in her bedroom closet when I came to give her lift to work once. Kept tinking they would sense he fear and come crashing out of that closet when she was giving me the tour. Way too many comic books. Sigh.
