So What Is New Anyhooooo?

I haven't really felt much like blogging lately, but anyhooo here I am.

I was going through some old files of mine and found a silly Paintshop drawing I made a few years ago, lol:

I have noticed that we have a lot of really nice folks who have become active posters here at LitNet. This really is a great site. I miss some of the people who used to be regulars here (Shalot, Sweets, B-mental, and there are others) -- you are all missed.

My mother-in-law recently had knee surgery, so I have been somewhat busy with regular visits. I know that she is in lots of pain, but only has extra strength tylenol in lieu of other major pain reliefs that a hospital can offer. When they put her on morphine, just after the surgery, she kind of tripped out and saw her mother and her husband (both deceased), so that was scary for her, and she opted for just regular pain relief. I dunno, judging by the bruising and swelling, I'd say she's a trooper all in all.

I've also been busy practicing the piano (as always), and just want to leave you with one of my favorites that I play. No, not a video of me, but of a master at the 88's, Mr. Vladimir Horowitz. Please see an awesome job of Chopin's "Raindrop Prelude" in this link: The Raindrop Prelude As It Should Be

Oh, and one final thing. My friend, Billy, bought me a fridge magnet that made me smile (was she saying something? lol). The caption says it all:

Till next time,
K♥zzo

cute painting. Wonder who the blonde and dogs are ? LOL

Sorry to hear about your M-I-L but glad she is on her way to recovery. She must have a strong threshold for pain if she is able to get by with just Tylenol.

Glad you stopped by if only for a short visit.

Extra strength Tylenol are actually wily little buggers... strong.

Good to hear from you, Kiz- I like your drawing

I was just so happy to see a blog from you. You could have told about taking out the trash and I would have been glad to read it.

I love the fridge magnet too. A the saying is perfect. I think we all need a kick in the a$$ every so often, and perhaps more often than not. I know I do. The Raindrop Prelude is wonderful. Horowitz may be the best in the past 100 years.
