A Little Bit of Everything

First off, thanks for all the congrats! I found out yesterday that for sure I am going to Nationals for my short sermon- I wasn't sure because they lost my score sheet.

A little clarification- The competition I won is the District Assemblies of God Fine Arts Festival in which this years theme was sacrifice and I'm going on to nationals for,
1) My poem titled Stained Streets about the day after Christ's crucification
2) My short story which is a story from Barrabas' point of view of the day Jesus was crucified.
and
3) My sermon which was required to be about sacrifice- I talked about how everyone can sacrifice something and that the greatest sacrifice we can give is our lives.

So yah, that's about it. I'm going to be doing a lot of fundraisers over the next few months to raise money because it will cost a lot. Not only is it the fine arts festival that week but also the National Youth convention which is in the same place. So that will be cool. Also about five days before I leave for that I will just be returning from an eleven day mission's trip to El Salvador. Then afterwards, on my sixteenth b-day I'll be flying between my two fvorite states and having my birthday with all of my best friends- breakfast with my friends in KY and dinner with my Cali friends. It will rock!
