Summer girl, behind shades

your covered eyes are like
sunlight with the lense cap on,
no flash permitted.
But please, for World Nude Day,
would you give me one?

Hmmm. I'm not "getting" the punchline, really. And the simile, I can't see a cap on sunlight. Maybe a smiley face, but not sunlight. And is it really talking about eyes or is this really have to do with boobs? I really like the World Nude Day part.

Yep, not too proud of this one, it was just for fun, which is why I didn't post it in Personal Poetry. Changed it a little though. I was happier with 'there is a connection' more.

The cadence is excellent. Remember that content is only one component that makes poems dance.

Thanks, good to know that there's something here, even if the point was lost.

    Well, Becca, it's like this:

    No flash permitted
    would you give me one
    ("for World Nude Day")

    and Dot Dot Dot.

I thought that the poem was cute, Silas. I liked the line
sunlight with the lense cap on
