oh... and saterday i was so privlaged to go with my dad to see THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA live! let me tell ya, it was absolutely amazing. most of you are familiar with it... so you know that part at the end of the song "Phantom of the Opera" when christine sings her sould out as loud and high as she can, well on the soundtrack and in the movies, yes it is amazing... but omg! in the theatar when she's really there, and you're REALLY there... I found a whole other meaning of Flabergasted. I mean whoa! it was crazy cool! (new turm from my big brother).
oh, i found out yesterday that for sure my choir is going to be doing the musical "Into the Woods" for those of you who don't know what it is... CHECK IT OUT! it is so funny. and i'm not just saying this because i'm bias. ya'll can watch on youtube. so worth it.. but beware, it is kinda long, so prepare to be left either at a cliff hanger or put aside an hour or two to watch it.

Congratulations to your sister! So does he have much hair yet to know what color it is? Babies are just too much fun!

Oh, isn't "Phantom" MAGNIFICENT live???? I have seen it twice now. I am really hoping to make it to the theater again for a third time this summer. What kind of seats did you have? I had the most perfect seats the first time. It was spellbinding! The second time, unfortunately, I was unlucky enough to get the second row. I now know all of the secrets to the show. So I feel I HAVE to see it again to make up for that bad little bit the last time that I saw it. No matter what, though, it was incredible!

You guys are doing "Into the Woods"? I LOVE that show! That is probably my third favorite show of Stephen Sondheim's. I think it is so clever. One of the companies here is doing it this summer. I would kill to be the Baker's Wife!!! That is one of my dream roles (I think I would get stuck with Cinderella, though - which is OK, but I want the other one). The only thing holding me back is the drive to where the company is. It is an hour's drive through the country. I am not a big fan of driving in the dark countryside alone. Just crazy paranoia on my part. But the desire to play her may make me overcome that.

Well, now it's Auntie Shurtie. How cute and wonderful. I saw Phantom of the Opera many years ago on Broadway. It was fun. I really liked the music, but I wasn't overwhelmed with the story. But hey, I haven't seen too many Broadway shows with great stories.
