So unless you have been MIA for the last 5 days you will know I have bbeen in Dublin visiting niamh. It was grand, in fact I can say the only thing I didn't like was the fact that they also succumbed to the health and safty bug and won't serve tea in pubs after midnight.

We saw LOADS of things most of which has completly sliped my mind excepted really the bullet holes at the GPO, and the books ...oh the books Trinity college library was amazing, as expected although I was kind of hoping they would have had some of the 15th and 16th century manuscript bound incunabula, to show niamh becasue they are well impresive but no such luck. Still they did have some gorgeous books. and don't even get me started on the charles Beatty library, lets just say 2nd century bibles and leave it at that huh?

So we had bucket loads of tea, and niamh bought me new happy socks ( with smilies!!!) and a head scarf from OZ which is also gorgeous so yupp good weekend now I just need to find someone else to drop in on!

    What does drinking tea after midnight have to do with health and safety? That sounds ridiculous. I'm glad you had a great time. If you ever plan on New York, please let me know.

    They are fantastic aren't they? Its to do with the combination of boilling water and crazy drunk people, virg I do get it I just don't like it!

    Serving hot tea in a pub of intoxicated people is bound to lead to someone being scalded.

    ohhh...I was just back from Dublin. Spent more than 2 weeks there. I love the feel of the city, people are more laid back there. Plus, I got to see a play at the famous Abbey Theater!

    Oh what did you go see? We saw the Playboy of the western world...I had trouble with the first half ( too many jokes I didn't get) but by the end I thought it was AMAZING!!!
