Okay:
I was at once the hysterical, bouncy girl in love with Edward Cullen. Yeah, sad, I know.

I don't like the books, I'm sure I have explained that before.

However, I must say, the movie was TERRIFIC!

I urge each and every one of you to go out and see it right now! Drop everything you're doing and go and see it. It was so cute, so funny and so good.

Robert Pattinson has totally made his way on my "Dream Guys" list. Yeah, it's plural. :P

Anyways, school blows. It's very tiring and I'm so sick of having to care about meaningless unimportant stuff that will never affect me. I don't care what the organs of my body are called, if I die, I die. I don't want to know why or how.

More importantly: I got first place in Lincoln Douglas Debate as the last tournament we went to!! Everybody give a lil smile or clap for me. lol. It was my favorite feeling ever. All I have to do is make it to quarters of one more tournament and I will be able to go to state! Yay! It's exciting, I know.

All right, well, I'm writing something right now, so I guess I might as well get back to it and after that I figure I will study for my test in two weeks. (Yeah, that's what I do on my Thanksgiving break).

Oh well, I'll talk to you homies later! Keep me posted on your lives!

Peace, love and candy apple hearts

I cannot see the movie becasue I am too sick to death of hearing about people talk about the books. I just want Stephnie Meyer to die already!

I am tired of all the little teen angers think they are vampire fantatics, when they are just wannabes

Haha, I totally agree with you there, Dark Muse! I hate it when students in my school keep on talking about the book and the upcoming movie. (The movie will be o theaters on November 26 here in my country.) And I doubly hate it when I read that damned Twilight book in the newspapers with pictures of loathsome teenagers wearing disgusting "Suck my blood!" or "Bite me!!!" shirts. Ewww!!!

    And it's all Meyer's fault!

I've never heard of the author or the books or the movie. I'm obviously of a different generation. Or lost in space.

Congratulations on debating. That's great. The ability to speak and argue in person is a great skill that I'm sure will come in handy in whatever you do in life. As to other school stuff you're not interested in, I understand. There's lotws in school we wonder why we need to learn it. But it makes for a complete person, and just like speaking in public, you never know when particular aspects of knowledge will come in handy and serve your needs. Anyway, nice to see you back.

Hahaa, yeah South Park was awsome last week, when all the preppy kids were runing around trying to pretend to be vampires, and the true goths had to stop them.

That is why Stephnie Meyer is evil, she turned Vampirisim into a fad.

I read that book AGES before it was ever popular, and while not great, I found it a lot better than MOST of the tween vampire literature around.

Don't blame Stephanie Meyer for turning vampirism into a fad. It's been one for much, much longer than that book has even been around. Anne Rice helped it along, as did various other authors and film-makers. It became a fad after the first vampire book ever written was published.

I thought the same DM. Then one day a couple of weeks ago, slightly bored during an escort in work, i picked up the first one to see what the deal was... I ended up reading the whole thing in a week.(as in the four books.)
I'm looking forward to the movie now.

Anne Rice was more of a cult classic, she was not as much as a popular fad as Meyer is. When I was reading Rice, it was not EVERYONE in highschool reading her, it was only the freaks and weirdos.

Odd you say that. When i was in secondary school, during debate class (cause the teacher never turned up) my friend and I would read Anne Rice out to the class. not just The Vamp ones but the Cry to Heaven and a few others... you'll probably know why everyone wanted to hear.

Since vampirism is now a fad, what's next, werewolfism. Kids gadding about with t-shirts saying "Moon Me" and "Werewolf? Me Wolf"?
Anyways, I didn't even know there were debate competitions. I thought we had beat that thing out of the school system some time ago. Before you know it, youngsters will be playing chess again. What's the world coming to?

Congrats! ... I'm not too sure I'll see the movie... I'm the same as DM... and I don't think I can stomach more of Meyer!

Haha, well I agree with most of you on the books. I really didn't like them. At first I did, but then it just became a load of retardation. I was in vampire-fiction-reading limbo. ha.

And PabloQ, debate is like...superhuge. Oh lord, its crazy huge. Best way to go to college, my best friend went on a full ride to UTD.

And Dark Muse, you make me giggle. Anne Rice is amazing, I would definately prefer to read her, opposed to Stephenie Meyer. If you want to maintain your sanity, I suggest you don't watch the movie or read the books. Like my friend said, "it is the epitome of emotional terrorism"

Haha, I loved the episode of South Park where the true Goth kids had to stop the preppy kids who were running around pretending to be vampires becasue of Twilight

haha. I loved it! Very epic. Parker and Stone are totally back on the top of my list because of that.
