She speaks to me
from another side
within those eyes
I see something eternal

An angel fallen
from the skies
not a word spoken
my soul is moved
with the dancing fires

She speaks to me
from a world of eternity
a smile, not of joy
befit of happiness
but filled with some
deeper understanding
upon her lips

She is not of this world
but lost somewhere
between heaven and hell
a beauty that cannot be touched
it is too infernal

She speaks to me
of things never intended
for mortals, something more
than some ideal love,
something which cuts through
the souls

Left quaking
in her wake
and yet she knows not
that I am here
watching from afar.
