What is wrong with people

People are so freaking annoying. I really do not know what is wrong with some people.

on The Poetry Forum there is this game that is the same as the shared Haiku game here, that someone started, so this woman posts a poem that is clearly not a haiku.

So I nicely pointed out to her that her peom was not a haiku and explained just what a haiku was, and she retorts with:

yep but rules are meant to be broken only the concept remains the same.
If everyone just posted any willy nilly poem they wanted to, then it would not be a FREAKING haiku game anymore, it would be posting random poems thread.

If she has a problem playing the game by the proper rules she can start her own thread doing what she wants, and does not have to participate.

I have no patience for people like that.

    *bashes head on desk* aaagh that is so annoying. I haven't been on that thread in quite a long time, but it was one of the ones with the easiest rules to follow! It's pretty simple form of poetry for crying out loud!

    Having worked in a small supermarket during college that got incredibly crowded on certain days, you learn that all people, even little old ladies if given the chance and situation, can turn into incredible savages.

    I agree that it can be annoying ... but having said that, I completely discombobulated one of Scheherazade's created threads ("Complete The Thought") and feel REAL STOOOOOPID about that -- such a simple thing and I blundered away. So perhaps the person just didn't understand what we were shooting for with that thread ...

    Just an idea!
