Wow, first blog since november. Have I been too busy? No. Have I not had anything to say? No. I've had things to mention, not big things but things. I've been letting thing slide too much haven't I. Such a shame that my first blog for over a month is going to be a rant about new year. Ah well. First off, excuses. For some time I did have more pressing issues. I had to finish my short story and write an essay to go with it. It was a good little story, I think. I don't think I've even mentioned it at all, and it was such an important thing too. Simply we had to write a 5000 word short story (Many people were worried about getting up to that limit so it was shortened to a minimum of 3000 and then 2500) but I was excited about having a total of 5000 words to play around with and I wanted to use as much of it as I could. It ended up being about 4700 and somethiing which worked out great. I wrote about a girl meeting a creepy guy on the train who causes her to reasess her life, it's a bit complex but that's basically it. I really liked it and I got mum to read my final draft (as someone who had never read my previous drafts and as a member of the general public) she liked it . I handed it in and I was happy. After that I set about designing my ecard to send to the JCS. It took me 2 days from finishing the drawings, scanning, editing and colouring to put it all together. I was going to send it to the whole JCS but there was a problem with the email so I just sent it to Sara instead, because she's the only member of the JCS who's email adress I have. I'm disapointed that I put so much work into it only to send it to one person but at least I sent it to someone. And I printed it out and put it with the christmas cards, it looks really good there. I'll try and stick it in here. Now, what else, ah yes, I also spent the odd day or two making some christmas cookies. I took some to my family on sunday and I sent some to my uncle in the isle of white (the one with the lung cancer, he's only got a few months left by now and I still haven't done badger man. But after doing the card I know I can't do the same thing, it's too fiddly and complex and I won't have the time. I'll have to coulour it in and ink it by hand then scan and play around with it) That's it, I'm out of excuses.

Also. An apology.
To everyone who wished me a merry christmas I'm sorry I didn't wish you a merry christmas too i would have if I'd logged on. So you'll have to make do with an apology and a, Happy New Year everyone, instead, sorry .

He earnt money and spent all of it and I mean all of it getting his "Friends" on his art website to draw pictures of his character. I won't *****, it's none of my concern, but I will say one thing, surely there are better things to spend your hard earned money on. I'd have thought his mum would have been charging him rent by now, seems she isn't.
Now, what else?
FFor christmas I got, slippers, PJ's, nightie, GTA san andreas, age of empires 3, next 2 books in the PHD manga series, Rammstein CD and a few other things.

Now, to the thing that sparked my need to blog, besides the realisation that this will be my last blog of 2008 and I've been neglecting everyone for a month.

Yeah, what a load of fun. New years are so boring these days. I've seen 20 of them and they're already boring. Oh well.
