Where was I before?
Ah, right, a lot to say then. Okay, where to start?
Most recent first.
Last week guess who escaped 3 times? Yes, Rocky. First 2 times his owner came to get him (his real owner, the older son, but when my neighbours complained to him about the dog he said it wasn’t his and it was “theirs”, he gestured in my direction but I think he was gesturing through me to his house because there’s no way that dog is mine and they know it, and that he was just coming to get it but mum later told me that he was the older son (the dog belonging to the older son but the younger son normally having to get him)) The third time they just left him with me. He escaped and they did nothing. They probably thought we’d keep him until the evening anyway (because I don’t know where their house is and there’s no way I can control that dog on my own). I tried to ignore him all day, to teach him it wasn’t fun to break out. During his time here he ate the home made bird food (some seeds we’d left out too long sprouted and were growing into long blades of grass) he knocked over the bucket we’d stashed his bottles in (to get them out of the way) and played with a few. I decided not to give him any new ones and when he got bored he went to sleep (he was soo cute like that (see attached picture Attachment 18 couldn’t insert it)) Eventually, as he’d been such a good dog (he nearly pissed on Henry’s grave but I stopped him so it doesn’t count) I gave him a new bottle and he was so happy. A little later I gave him a plastic J20 bottle (something new for him) and because it’s smaller and stronger he loved it. I also tried to see if he’d play frisbee with a plastic lid (he can chase but not return) I also have to say that with thicker trousers on the leg thing’s not such a problem, just an annoyance. It got dark and mum came home, he went hyper and she played with him (she’s better than I am because she’s had dogs before and I haven’t) she went to get the owner and the lead, took ages, then we had to collar him. The difference now being that it was dark and cold while the house was light and warm so he pushed past us into the house and putting on the lead was a nightmare but we eventually got it on and got him out. Mum tells me that the mother is thinking of giving him to the RSPCA. That’s like committing suicide, getting it over with and not addressing the issue. Rocky’s a great dog but he just needs some proper training. He’s too lively and too strong but with some proper training he’ll learn to calm down and obey you better. So far the only command he truly know is “Sit!” I just wonder what kind of life he’ll have if she gives him away. If someone trains him properly he should be fine. But what if they don’t? What if family after family take him, find he’s too hard to handle and send him back? What will that do to him? And, if his current owners get rid of him, who’s to say they won’t get another dog?
So, in light of Rocky’s last escape we got him a present for if he does it again, a nice big bone to chew (in the Christmas present section of the pet aisle at Tesco) and, if he doesn’t break out before Christmas it’s not wasted because mum can give it to her friend who owns a husky (she moved into a bungalow and said she was worried about sleeping on the ground floor so her son’s said they’d get her a dog. She thought they were joking and said alright get me a husky. A while later they sent her a picture of a husky they’d purchased (not ready to leave home yet but she was reserved for when she was) and I think it was her sister or another female relative also got a husky. Don’t think it’s a dog “for Christmas and not life” kind of thing because she kept her and she loves her very much) so if Rocky doesn’t get the bone, Sasha (the husky) will.
Now, what else? Ah, a few weeks ago at the JCS we saw the first Deathnote film. They also saw the second but it would finish too late for me so I had to go home, but I looked for it at home, found it and watched it thenIt was fun, so much fun I decided to read the manga I quite like it. I knew of Deathnote but I’d never read it, or seen the anime, so I had no expetations for the film, but the other’s thought the plotline of the film was crap and I can already se major differences between it and the manga. Some were advised not to see the film until they read the manga but I found it works best for me in reverse, only problem it I know the ending now but that’s happened to me a few times with anime, where I’ve looked it up to see if it’s worth watching and found the ending (Magic Knight Rayearth springs to mind). And last week we had a how to draw manga session in which several people asked about the comic strip I’d been doing and if they were in it and if they could read it. Better get cracking with it now
. Some of the JCS have planned their own anime that’s insanely wild and crazy, so much so that I wish it was real so I could watch it
. This week they’re having a quiz but I can’t go because I’ve got no lessons and I’m not going all the way up to Hammersmith for three hours to come back again at 11:30, I’ve asked Sara for all the details of it later though. The reason I can’t go is because I don’t have a lesson this week so I’ve no reason to go in besides the JCS and you already know why that’s not a good enough reason. If I left now I’d still make it, but I wont. Perhaps I’ll do some work, watch anime, read manga, play games or draw instead
.
In completely unrelated news, Tom’s got a job (I’ve employed my spying tactics to find this out so he doesn’t know I know) He’s an administrative assistant for a small electrics company. Mum used to be an administrator so I asked her what it is. The way she put it was that the administrator has to do what no one else wants to do in the office (I see it as being the office’s secretary) so being an assistant to the administrator means you’ll be doing the mundane jobs the administrator doesn’t want to do that are what the rest of the office doesn’t want to do (then again, mum worked for a small employment agency so her experiences are different to others) He’s said it’s a ****ty job with ****ty pay but it’s a job. I’m annoyed by the fact I can’t picture him bored sand hanging around the house “all day like some vast slug” (Bottom, series 3 episode 1 “Hole”) I know it’s petty but I like to imagine it sometimes. It also gives him something to brag about, should he ever contact me again, it’s a job he’ll hate though, so that’s some small comfort.
Also, I’ve discovered a new web comic that I think is great, Looking for Group http://www.lfgcomic.com/, check out the animations section I haven’t been able to get that song out of my head for days.
Well, I think that’s all for now then, Bluebiird out.
