I called this photo "Heaven For Dogs" because it is pretty much everything that a dog could want. It's a hydrant (you know the cartoons) on the edge of a forest (oh the rabbits and squirrels to be chased; not to mention all the good wiffs to be had there...).

Anyhooo, that photo was taken with my rinky-dink camera, that requires film taken in for processing. And I didn't process for some time (due to my fixation with my cellphone's camera as of late).

My youngest brother flew in especially for my dad's birthday this Sunday past. Everyone was at the restaurant except for me & he. I made my entrance (and my mom wondered why so late, lol), and then in he walked.

Oh a picture was worth a million words, I don't know which parent was more surprised and pleased!

We all had a really great time, and then went to my parents' home for chit chatting and fellowship. It was something that we needed, as there is always a bit of a hole when we aren't all together for the Holiday. My brother flew back to his home in another province the very next day. I just want you to know that I have really cool/great/awesome siblings, I consider myself to be very lucky to be part of this group of five.

They are finally grooming my favorite Winter haunt -- the Duck Pond!! The ice is thick enough but they are filling in lower areas, and just generally grooming it for as safe an ice skating session as can be expected.

Time to sharpen the blades -- its SKATING TIME!!!
