Halls of the Dark Muse

Well probably it is really some kind of mechanical or technological problem. But it is weird how it literally happened overnight. I had been using my VCR on a fairly regular basis and it gave no sign of anything being wrong. It had been working perfectly normally and fine.

Then over the Thanksgiving week, on Tuesday I had to go to class, and the VCR was set to tape House. I got home just a little after 8 and I could see the VCR was recording the way it always does without any problem. And the next morning, my sister who sleeps in this room when she is visiting said at 7 in the morning the VCR just started rewinding by itself.

Ever sense then it began sporadically throughout the day running and then it would stop, and then it would start again, though now it is not even turned on, and does not have a tape in it. But all day morning from night you can hear it every now and then and it counts through random numbers.
