When the Morning Comes

When the Morning Comes

The sun slowly rises, greeted by the sky
early mist begins to shy from the light
as waking birds rise to take flight
in dazzling acrobatics they fly

Upon graceful wings gravity they defy
life begins to emerge once hidden from sight
at the eve of the day and close of the night
a peaceful bliss none can deny

Gentle hush stirs with a sigh
in dawns solitude a quiet delight
shadows part before the sun with fright
spider webs glisten where dew drops lie

Nocturne creatures silenced their cry
when the kiss of morning is felt cling tight
sweet the moment fades as sun gains might
all too soon it is time to say good-bye

Liked this one--kept imaginging some of the very early Disney cartoons which did a great deal of beautiful on nature and stuff probably best exemplifed by Bambi but some of the shorts are evocative.
