My nine year old nephew had his lymph node removed yesterday. It was huge, like a golf ball. They are sending it for a biopsy to make sure it’s not lymphoma, but other than being large it looked good. I really think everything is fine. The lymph node was in his neck on his left side. They had to cut a little more than they expected because it was so much larger than they expected. But, it’s pretty close to the skin so not too big of a deal. He is hurting though.
His discharge papers were a riot! The doctor wrote out his discharge papers and I think we’ll keep them. First she said no bucking broncos until 2:17 pm on Sunday- no watching them either. Then she said he can have a shower today at 10:06 and ½. I thought it was so funny I just wanted to share that with everyone.
