Anyway, I have nothing to blog about but an urge to blog, which pretty much sums up my life at the moment. Nothing doing but no time on my hands either. How does that work?

Everything is kind of half-way. I'm writing a story, and a novel, and I've got two or three poems half-done but nothing finished. I've half-read a couple of books and then given up part way through and moved on to something else.

And I'd really like something exciting to happen, except that when exciting things happen they are usually bad.

But overall I'm pretty happy at the moment. Happy getting nowhere, not quite finishing anything, waiting for something exciting to happen but knowing it won't, and blathering on here as pointlessly as possible.

    Well, I've got nothing to respond with but an urge to respond. Thanks for the opportunity. Looking forward to your work. I'm working on a short story myself. Pretty song. I don't recall it when it came out. What year was that around? Sometime in the 1990's?

    Ah your life is a better version of mine I must say. I spend all my time doing nothing worth blogging about. Then we go toSeinfeld and discover the deep riches in finding something out of nothing. Best to your novel--have never tried one and already know my limits anyway. Hope it gets better for you.

    I love the Pet Shop Boys. I loved that song, too. I wish music was still like this.

    Quite often I have the urge to blog about something, but nothing is ever going on in my life. I always opt to not blog at all.
