Christmas Lists

Today the kiddies and I posted the Christmas lists to Father Christmas. You may be glad to hear that Father Christmas has updated to the 21st Century and you can now send him e-mail via www.northpole.com. In fact there's lots of fun stuff to do there, including the 'Santa Tracker' on Dec 24th which you can use to track Santa's progress around the world, and make sure the little ones are in bed in time.
So this year the lists look like so:
Son: Age 8
Nice
has chimney
PS3 & games
Combat of Giants (DS Game)
Lego Star Wars B Wing Fighter
Lego Star Wars Slave 1
Laser Challenge Pro
Pokemon Trading Cards (Battlezone)
I have to confess, I don't know what 1/2 those things are. What I do know is that 4 of those 6 items are over £50 which means my son is likely to be disappointed this year. Sigh.
Daughter
Age 5
Nice (mostly!)
what's a chimney?
MP3 player
Dinosaur King (DS game)
Animal Hospital
My daughter is not likely to be disappointed!
So, I didn't make a list to send to Father Christmas this year but if I was going to make a list it'd look like this:
Mum
Age: huh!
Tries to be nice
Looks like a chimney!
Move house (we've been up for sale for 2 years now. It's a bad time to sell)
Finish writing my novel
For everyone to be happy at Christmas and beyond (last year we all had 'flu over Christmas. I was bedridden all Christmas Eve and 1/2 of Christmas Day, husband was bedridden 1/2 Christmas Day and Boxing Day, Mum was bedridden by Dec 27th. Fortunately the daughter didn't get sick, and my son only got a little sick on Christmas Day. Flu is awful.)
A peaceful year
The last two are dreams, but sometimes dreams come true, right?
So Lit-netters: what would you put on your Christmas list?
