My heart is completely surrendered to you.
What is there left in this world for me now,
But to love you?
I have never known peace until I heard your name.
I have not known love until you claimed my heart,
I have not known love until you asked me for my own.
My heart is completely surrenderd to you,
My every breath in this life is for you.
I am lost in a circle, but my eyes now can discern what is true;
For my whole life spent in illusion,
A single moment of love is worth not knowing who I was!
Now I am glad, now I am at peace, and I know the the real from unreal.
Real is this life which we see with our eyes,
Real are the eons of life spent with you.
Your name is now the single thought in my heart.
And my heart is completely surrendered to you.

    I see Nik down on one knee with a lyre, and pining up to the image of his adoration. I like this, I wish I could feel this way.

    You are so kind B and Manny. Thank you for the comments. Except you guys, Lyre or Guitar songs don't usually have lines like "now I know the unreal from the real." ;)

    Probably better to just learn Beatles songs like Love Me Do or And I Love Her :)

    i like that 'my heart is completely surrendered to you'. really romantic! i believe that if someone has stolen your heart, you better let her know soon...with such a sentimental poem she'll be much flattered and have no choice but to be surrendered to your talent!and if you have a nice voice too you have nothing to worry about!!!

    Thank you, Maraki. She knows I how I feel about her- she is everything for me, and I am so fortunate that she loves me too.

    I think this poem is lovely, Nik. The beginning and ending lines being the same was a perfect touch. Lucky is the one that the poem was written for.
