Stephen Crane's The Open Boat is really worth reading!
It's just like watching a movie, and you wil find it hard to forget it!
The ferociously yelling seawater and the crew members struggle against it are just too vivid to wave away from my mind.
Nature here is indifferent and man's power is too little to conquer it.
What man has to do in danger of nature is to strive to accomply it, never against it, for man is too powerless in the life-threatening situation.
Crane's opinion is clear of naturalism, in accordance with Darwinism.
And today i also agree with them, since we have do so much harm to the nature, i believe one day we will eat the disaster imposed on us.
