Halls of the Dark Muse

In my art class that I have to take, today we did the one thing that I HATE havint to do, becasue I simply cannot do it.

Figure drawing!

People can say all they want that art is leaned and that anyone can be taught to draw, and that it is not some inborn ablity, but throughout my many art clases in my school years, and varrious different teachers, and different methods and techniques, and in spite of my efforts, it is simply impossible for me to do.

I cannot, not matter how I try, draw a human figure that resembles a human being, and does not look like some distroted version of a person.

I draw people as they would appear if one were completely plastered.

I could be like one of those old school anti-drug adds.

They could be like "this is your brain" and show a normal picture.

And then show one of my attempts to draw the human figure and be like "This is your brain on drugs"

and people would be like Whoa! That is messed up.
