Halls of the Dark Muse

What happens to all the shows I like

Rate this Entry
I am like a curse to TV, it is pretty much a gaurentee any show I really like is doomed to be canceled. This has been happening for just about as long as I can remember, I find a show I really like to watch, and it gets taken off the air.

I have just found out that my two favorite shows of recent have been canceled. Moonlight and Las Vagas

Moonlight, a kind of already suspected becaue I have heard talk and rumurs, but hoped maybe it was not true, but when I looked it up, it said it was canceled.

Then Las Vegas I was getting nervous about becasue there had not been any talk about the new season and all the other showes were already starting to I looked it up, and it said it was canceld.

Both of which were good quality shows and very unique, but maybe that is the problem, most all the shows I like tend to be different and people don't like different.

There will be a gazzliion different laywer shows, and a gazillion different cop shows, or doctor shows.

There are like 5 different Law and Orders and 5 different CSIs, but if something original comes along, it gets taken off the air.

If this helps Moonlight will be released on DVD on January 20, 2009 per TVshowsondvd.com. I feel that way about comic book series I love being cancelled. If I adore them they are history--Suicide Squad, Blackhawk, Enemy Ace, Spectre, Dr. Strange, Phantom Stranger the list goes on. Each new issue of Jonah Hex is a miracle to me.

I hate it when that happens! It's not too bad when I have some warning, but like there are some shows that got taken off years ago, with no warning, and no mention of even the possibility of it... and then... it just never showed up again!

I hate when that happens! I dont know who many times networks threatened to cancel futurama and family guy! They are huge in my part of the world, and where more successful here that in the USA. Its thanks to the European Audiences that both these shows made it past series one. thank god for protests!

DM, I used to love a show called Touching Evil-
only made it one season. G-r-r-r! Then I loved a show called Joan of Arcadia. It was a hit! Cancelled abruptly at the end of season 2. Double g-r-r-r-r!

DM, if you haven't seen the American series Dexter, I recommend that rent Year 1 and enjoy. It might be up your alley.
