Ramblings from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia

Trying Again!

Rate this Entry
Despite several bad falls which resulted in some nasty bruises, I am trying once more to do work at the computer shop, mainly half-days on little or no pay to try to keep busy.

I do enjoy trying to find problems with computers and I have good phone manners and the Boss says I am a great "people person". Heee-hee! I am scared to death but I do the job.

I always am afraid or angry about my situation with this dang Bi-Polar, and the new medicine makes me a bit more grumpy.

I shall how the fort down, Captain, sir!

On a sick note, they found a skeleton along a trial the wife and I just hiked about a month ago. Guy had killed himself. Always makes you wonder how safe we really are in this world, even when you think you are the only ones there with nature!

Love to all!

I think it’s great, pen, that you are working on computers some. I think you and I are alike in that we prefer to be at home. I am going to start volunteering at the school one day a week and I have serious anxiety about being away from the house all day. But, I’ll have to get a job in a couple of years so I need to try to get over it. I wasn’t always like this. Now I have to really plan and talk to myself about being away. A couple of hours is fine, but all day makes me feel sick.

That is pretty scary about the skeleton. When my kids are all grown I would like to hike the Appalachian Trail with my best friend. Maybe not the entire trail, but I would love to spend a month on it. (I don’t get sick thinking about that because it’s so far in the future and the thought of not having all of the kids in the house makes me think I’ll feel less responsible or maybe more independent in the future) But wasn’t there someone who would kill the hikers several years ago? Scary. Maybe I won’t be scared about it in another fifteen years when my kids are all adults.

Uncle Pen! I didn't know you had Bipolar, too. Oh well, manic depression is one of the most difficult things a person has to go through. I am experiencing it, too. However, I am also glad to hear that you are keeping yourself busy. Take care, uncle Pen!!
