Saturday part 1

Since when was there a limit to the amount of words in an entry?

Day 1, Saturday.
I got my hair cut, it was very quick because I never bother styling it, my hair’s too wild to maintain a style. I had it cut shoulder length as always but the distance from my head to my shoulders has grown since I was a little girl, it would seem, because I was actually hoping it’d be a but shorter than it was but I didn’t want to be picky and besides, at this length it would still tie back, if I’d had it as short as I’d been imagining I’d have struggled and failed to tie it back so it wasn’t all bad.
We were late leaving by an hour, we had to stand on the train and there was no Victoria line so we had to go round the houses a bit to get to Gatwick. I was hoping to get a student discount on the Gatwick Express, I failed last year because I only had a connexions card and it wasn’t as widely recognized as they had proclaimed but this year I had my proper Uni. Student ID so I figured that might work. We didn’t have time to buy a ticket before we got on the train so we had to buy it on the train and my student discount failed, the guy said I’d have got a discount if we’d bought our tickets at the ticket office, oh well, I figured I’d get it on the way back. Check in went accordingly, but then came the security checks. How are you supposed to finish a bottle of diet coke from the Gatwick Express before you get to check in? Answer, unless you’re incredibly thirsty, you can’t, so half of that got wasted by being thrown in a bin (I couldn’t finish it all there and then) Besides that the whole liquid stop was fine, then came my favorite part, the ****ing metal detectors. I understand it’s for our safety and all but it’s such a palaver. I was carrying this little denim bag mum got me years ago (I wasn’t going to lug my big old handbag around) I was always adverse to handbags, and that little denim bag because I could never get anything in it but I seem to have matured a bit now and I managed to fit in all the bare essentials without too much bother. So, I had to take that off, my jacket (because of the zipper) my belt, my keys (which were still in my pocket) and the bangles I started wearing about a week before (They used to be mums but she can’t get them on anymore and I’ve been slowly accumulating wrist accessories, because my chakra bracelet was breaking I started wearing my “Save Species Worldwide” wristband that we bought in Jersey Zoo last year, sandwiching my bracelet between that and my watch on my left wrist instead of having it on my right wrist like before but the week or so before we left I started to think that my right wrist looked bare in comparison and I happened to have an item I’d been wanting to wear again but didn’t because it wouldn’t have been right on the same wrist as my chakra bracelet, but with it out of the way I figured why not? The bangles in question are three thin bands of gold, one plain, one white and one pink, all connected to each other, forming one thing, I’d always loved them and when mum couldn’t fit them on her wrist anymore she gave them to me. I wore them once, maybe twice, at a family gathering at my aunts and then they were left on my plastic cactus for a year or so until I decided to wear them one Sunday when we went shopping, now I wear them when I go out with all my other trinkets (my watch and my lucky hematite necklace that I never take off, my chakra bracelet, my wristband and Li (I believe I mentioned him, silver dragon on a blue ring? I’d just finished watching Darker than Black and the blue ring reminded me of Li or Lee Shengshun (also known as Hei or BK-201) because it reminded me of his eyes, a dark shade of blue and absent of pupils, hence the dragon’s name became Li)))

Anyway, Back to the point.
