Halls of the Dark Muse

could it have been a bug of some sort? that happens in my house a lot. wood lice or centipedes...

I thought so at first, but I looked around, and there was no sign of anything, and what I saw would have been no little bug. At first I was thinking like a cockroach, but I would have seen in it in the battub when I turend off the faucet.

maybe it was a corner of the eye phenomenon. that happens. kind of like your eyes playing tricks on you. See something from the corner of your eye but when you turn around there is nothing there....

It could be something like that, though when it happend I was starting dead on, srtaight at the faucet when I saw it. It was not just in the corner of my eye. I was looking right at it. I was sitting there watching the water, when all the sudden it was like whoa, what was that.

Now that gives me the creeps. Asian movies like this give me the creeps.

Did it turn the water black? Perhaps it disolved. It might have been a clump of rust from the pipes, though I can't see why it wouldn't have disolved before it came out the faucet. Some things are mysterius.

It was probably a tentacle from the dark and mysterious evil octopus like creature that somehow got one of his tentacles stuck in the pipes...

No it did not turn the water black. It was just in the water comming out of the faucet, there was a sudden and moemntary large black shadow/object, which than just vannished. Like something was just flushed out of the faucet, but there was no sign of anything anywhere in the water or the tub. Everything looked normal after that one moment.
