...And I thought The Dark Knight Completed my world. I was wrong. So very wrong.

1) I got a 93 on my first college test ever! In my Sociology course. It's freaking awesome.

2) My guitar teacher is super gorgeous. Omfg, I love going to lessons! heh Sadly though, hot guy + guitar = taken! haha, at least, that's how it was put to me by my friends. It was brutal, but necessary. *sigh*

3) I'm finally going pick up In Cold Blood again. Tonight! (this is a major accomplishment, it's literally on my floor).

4) I got paid this week, one twenty something for two days of work! My macbook is so close I can taste it....scratch that, feel it!

5) My mother chewed out my debate coach from hell, whose team I am going to quit!

I am a happy person...well. partially happy. I got into a large fight with my friends and then told them that I basically wanted nothing to do with them any more, so I'm down to like...3 friends right now. Kevin, Dustin, and Kelsi - well those are the 3 main people that I talk to, the rest of the people I talk to are more in school kind of things, these are the good friends that I talk to all the time.

Oh, and I banged my hand on a door today so I have a super large bruise and, and, and, I had to mow the yard ( 'Tis a sad thing indeed. I hate our lawn mower, it's evil and wants to rub my hands rawww. Evil creature!

OHMIGOSH! The worst thing that has ever happened to me, EVER occured the other night!!!!!

It was the release of the fourth Twilight book, Breaking Dawn, and after I got the book at about 12:30, I took one of my friends home. So, I knew tonight would be bad because a) I was hitting every red light known to man, I mean, every one! (don't ask, red lights are bad for me...I know, I know, it sounds wierd, but my instincts are funny), b) while we were driving to B&N, my car started to act funny, we immediately pulled into the Academy parking lot to check it out, the second I stopped, my car went back to normal, c) it was hard as hell to find a parking spot. So anyways, we go to the release, packed as hell and then change our minds about B&N and go to WalMart where some guy thinks I'm stealing the book, so I had to go back to the lady who I bought it from and tell her to tell him that I bought it because I didn't have my recipt because I gave my friend money to buy it for me because he was at the front of the line. After that I drop my friend off and it's about 1:00 a.m. - 1:15 a.m. and I'm driving home and it's after curfew for me and I have a green light and the next thing I know, this idiot in a red car pulls out in front of me and my foot is on the break like crazy. Oh my god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was literally a foot away from hitting him. He just stopped in the intersection. He stopped, I stopped. His car door was right, smackdab, in the center of my car, if I would have hit him, going 40, I'm pretty sure he'd be dead. I could have KILLED him. KILLED HIM. ENDED HIS LIFE! AND HE WAS LOOKING AT ME LIKE I HAD DONE SOMETHIGN WRONG! LIKE MY STOPPING SO I DIDN'T HIT HIM WAS WRONG!!!! I COULD HAVE TAKEN SOMEONE'S LIFE! Needless to say, I cried the whole waay home. That shook me up so much, I could barely park in my own drive way. When I got home, my dad woke up and let me cry into his shoulder. I was scared. Terrified. Horrified. I could have caused a death. I was practically hyperventilating. So, I went to bed, cried myself to sleep and dreamed about that near-crash. I was scared...soooo so scared. OH! And, if I would have gotten into a wreck, not only would I have killed someone, but probably been ticketed for being out after curfew!!!! That would have just been the cherry topping to my ice cream, hm?

See what can happen to me in just a few days??? lol Well, anyways, I have to go and practice the guitar. I hope you all have a great morning/afternoon/evening and stay safe!

<3 Love, Kim

Exciting few days. That's pretty good pay for two days work for someone in school. What's your job? And yes driving is a responsibility. You can never be sure what the other person is going to do. Thank God you were able to stop. Let me know what you think of In Cold Blood. I think it's a great novel. Congrats on your first test score! between school, work, and friends, you sound like you keep very busy.

Texas has a curfew enforced by law? I don’t like the sound of that. Seems to me that should be something between you and your parents.

Oh, I work work for a company called Claymore Oil and Gas that is run by my mom's friends friend. They're all very nice people and I just got a raise recently too.

and yeah, curfew laws are suckage!!! heh. The curfew is mainly directed towards those who just got their liscense, meaning that for the first 6 months of driving you have curfew and some other rules. I'm pretty cool with them it's all for my safety, I know.

Oh that's a restriction on driving. That makes sense. Good for you that you're working. I believe that job experience is so important to young people. It's an education in itself. The money is secondary. Of course it's good to have money too.

thats cool about the test, but hell! that is a scary experience. I've been in a crash and a very serious close shave....actually make that two. I was the passenger.
