Hurricanes Suck

All right, I miss my home, my bed, my friends, my boyfriend, even my school.I want to go home! I must admit, I am having fun in San Marcos, but I hate hurricanes, they're so scary. When Rita "hit" we spent over 20 hours on the road for nothing, now I'm hoping that we spent all of that time for nothing. I'd be very mad, but it's better than the alternative and losing everything that we have.
Well, in other news, I almost went to Dallas for a debate tournament, yes, it's going on, it's out of the way of the hurricane. I had my amazing cases written for it and everything, but a few problems occured and I'm not going anymore. My best friend, Dustin, just called me from there and told me that he and his debate partner are 2-0, meaning that they've one two rounds and lost none! The tournament breaks at 3-1, meaning that in order for him to go on in the tournament he needs to win the next two rounds and go 4-0 or win one and lose one and go 3-1.
My throat hurts and I'm sad about it. I am not feeling well. I went shopping today though, and I made it through that with out a miserable sigh, heh, probably because I got a bunch of stuff.
Oh, brilliant news!! My father just called from home. He was stuck in Deer Park because Shell needed to shut down for the hurricane and he had to stay out there all night and get it done. Well, NOW HE'S COMING TO SAN MARCOS!!! I'm happy, now we'll all be here and I won't have to worry about him any more than I'm worrying about everything else. I hope that he makes it here with out trouble.
Okay, well, I'm going to go. I'm going to try and get sleep and chill until my father gets here. Good night guys!
