Take the Good with the Bad or None at All

Here is just a random thought I had.

There are many feminists today who debate and argue against God always being presented in the masculine, and trying to either argue for a female God, or a simply androgynous God.

But you never hear anyone complaining about the fact that Death, The Grim Reaper, is also always portrayed in the masculine. In fact if someone did try to make a feminized version of the Reaper, it would probably cause out rage, and be seen as offensive to women in some way.

It women want true equality, should they not be equally offended by both the idea of a purely male God, as well as the idea of a purely male Grim Reaper?

Is it not more stereotypical of women to try and make a claim on God, while being content to just let men have all the credit for Death?

Now that is a good point. Next time one of my feminist friends tries to make a claim on God, I'll bring that up!

You should look up Thanos comics (Marvel comics) by JimStarlin wherein Death is very very much a lady albit a skeleton like figure. QUite striking in her silent way.

I think God is male; had he been female, she would have done a much better job and the world would have been a much better place, no doubt!

**Posting from the safety of underneath my desk** There is an easy explanation for this: women are incredibly irrational creatures

And the devil is male too. But you know, I've known a few women who were death to me.

Virgil, you stole my joke. Some women seem to be content just to be the death of a man. Symbolism aside.
