um... don't know why i wrote this. question: what does it make you think of?

Brain freezes,
Heart stops,
Jaw loosens,
Mouth drops.
Pulse races,
Cheeks flush,
Nerves tingle,
Words hush.
Hands tremble,
Breath dies,
Lips numb,
Soul flies.

yeah, short and simple. i wrote it more as an excercise to get a beat. ha, i've found when i write, i use a beat. i think of a line, "Brain freezes" get stuck count a beat, "one, two. one, two." write the next couple of lines... or i'll just start counting, "One, two, three. one, two, three." over and over till i get a beat and the words to go with it. funny how that works.
