Lauda meus amicus!

With Nationals fast approaching I felt that I must remember the person who got me to where I am, now. There is one Litnetter who, upon the approach of Regionals so very long ago, decided to help a Level I latin nerd learn the Illiad and the Odyssey in a short matter of illness-tainted days-- and suceeded.
And what she learned-- that student, that proud latin nerd-- was the difference of placing first, or not placing at all.
So thank you. Your assistance made a chain reaction-- a good feeling, and a gauranteed seat at States. Then more confidence in my skills, and a good placing. And now Nationals. It is beautiful how one kind gesture can help someone so much, and I hope you all can take a lesson from...
VIRGIL!For your kindness, and the fact that you are out of this world, I give you an army of aliens. They make good minions...![]()

Post Scriptum: For the record, you wendy-whiner... I would have made your kudos sooner, but heartfelt speeches don't come easily.
