Belated birthday

Well, it’s been just under a week since my birthday and I haven’t updated about it. Silly me.
Okay, let’s see if I can still remember all the details.
I came downstairs to find a little bag of presents and one on my computer chair. I did some unwrapping, dad came. He gave me a pretty bunch of flowers, though he said that he just picked up the first bunch he saw, not that I’d expected any less. From mum I got a CD, some summer pyjamas, a nice little lilac jewellery box, a nice little bracelet and a grinning cat ornament that looks kind of possessed.
School was normal until the fire bell went off while I was trying to do my IT and it was raining a bit. I’d arranged to meet mum outside, which was just after I wrote the entry panicking about my IT work, the one I didn’t even colour into my trademark navy. I waited outside for a while, wondering if mum had tried to change the time and I didn’t know. Eventually I saw her and had to dart across the road (using the pedestrian crossing of course, I’m not entirely stupid). We got to the cinema, got some ice-cream (yum) and were in time for the film with a few adverts to spare. You already know my reaction to the film. But for those of you that missed it, it was GEAT!!!![]()

Later on, when I was begining to doubt the existance of a cake mum turned out the lights and brought in a nice little chocolate cake with candles like the ones I had for dad, saying "happy 19 birthday". It was nice.
Well, that’s that now.
Bluebiird out.
