Pets are wonderful. According to this book I am reading, (written by a medium) our pets do go to heaven. All God's creatures become part of the light. I feel so much better. When I was little, the Catholics told me animals don't have souls, which means we wouldn't see them on the other side. I was so sad. But now I feel better. Here's to seven more (and more) with that marvelous creature.

Happy Birthday Pepper!! I love the "wet noses in my ear"!! Shalot, I think the Catholics who told you this about dogs simply didn't know anything about what they were talking about, because nobody knows where souls of dead pets go, nobody even knows if the concept of soul exists, be it for humans or animals.

Thanks muchly, from Pepper & Me to you! She had a nice and lazy day (what day isn't, lol); complete with extra cookie rations and even a nice crisp apple. I believe that the content look on her face could only be a hint of what dogs think when they lay in their baskets ... (why do I kid myself?? Dogs live for that next moment when food is passed for our hand to their chops!). Of course I am saying this in a light hearted manner, my dog and I have an understanding. Cheers! ♥Kiz♥
