A Ramble through Smilie Land

I feel a round of insperation and a desire to add to the growing newbie guides that seem to have popped up. I though we might do with a list of common terms and phases we use around here I know it was nearly a year before I figured out what on earth LAMO meant.

1. Litnet-- affectionate shortening of the Literature network. tends to refer more to the community than the actual main site , but does apply to the site too.
2. mods-- The moderators Logos, Scherazad and Jay, related refreances to bopping, big red button and crystal balls tend to be linked to them, not really dangerous as long as you listen to the
3. Nana or the dancing nana, is the nickname for the dancing babana who was at one point at the heart of debate.
4. The Dasterdly Stans The ship and crew of the Pirate Captain Stan, usually at war with the Amazons, although originally they were meant to be fighting the nijas
5. The Amazons -- A pirate ship mostly consisting of women with the notable exception of Brandy, Virgl's dog who were formed of mutineers from the Dasterdly Stan. Who exactly leads them is uncertain as it tends to change, at the moment it appears to be Papayahed.
6. Running around naked -- Seems to be an idea that started in one of Basil's more random posts , the idea being what happens when there are only guest in the forum and no one else.
