I found egyptain TV online! Apparntly the govverment has decided that the state satellite channel shoudl aldo be availbal live online, which is great I get to watch my soaps if I could just figure out time differances and rember when it was they came on.

BUt this chanell is the intresting one in that it broadcasts in English, french, arbic and hebrew. And whenever there is arabic its subtitled in english, or french depending if ts morning or evening. The idea is that it reaches out to all the foriegners in Egypt but also helps egyptians learn the languge.

I just thought Id give it blog space as I am soooooooo happy, egyptian tv serieses are addictive so yes

    then go to the live tv section then press the bottom link in the pop up window Live nile Tv international its called and it plays through media player and 1605 GMT everyday for the muslasal ( series) if you want to watch it , but the one they have on at the moment is alrady at episode 25 and well its a bit boring to tell the truth its call el haqq well-hurayah The truth and freedom and is all about the Egyptian resistance to english occupation at the moment they are still in late 1913 under el khidawy Abbass Helmy II and I guess they probably mean to o on at least till sad Zagluls exsile and death since hes shown up but probaly itll go on untl 23 july 1952 might even go up to the death of sadat in 75
    but Like I said its boring when you want to yell no you idiots hes going to betray you all and then you all get flogged or hung or exiled or whatever.

    But as usual with arabic period drams they do their damdest to get the historical facts and clothing correct and there are english subtitles.
